Q: How much weight can the cat structures hold?

A: Each cat structure can easily hold more than two house cats, even two fat cats! So don't worry, our structures are insanely strong. Now, if you have a pet tiger...no, it won't hold a 400 pound tiger! (50 pound weight limit for each structure)

Individual Parts for Sale?

Q: Can I buy individual parts rather than a kit?

A: No. Our initial product launch is only for selling our various kits. The kits allow a lot of value to be packaged into a single box while reducing shipping costs. Furthermore, our kits are designed to work together so that the cat can get to the lounge either by the stair and/or step.

Will my cats use it?

Yes. We have nine cats and each cat uses the structures. The key to getting them to use it is actually the pet bed. Once the pet bed is placed into the lounge, they have a natural desire to sit on it.

Window Panes Protruding Out?

Q: Do the cat structures fit flush against the glass, as we have wooden separators that stick out a bit from the glass surface?

A: When installed on the glass there is still at least 0.20 inches (5mm) between the structure and the glass itself due the thickness of the adhesive mount stud.

If this was not enough, there is another 0.125 inches (3mm) of thread left exposed on the adhesive mount stud, so this could be utilized as well. For example, you could either (1) tighten the cat structure directly against the wooden pane separators, or (2) place a washer between the adhesive mount stud and the cat structure to cause it to stick out a bit further and not directly touch the wooden pane separator.

If the thickness of the pane as measured from the glass surface is 0.325 inches or less, it will still work.

The adhesive mounts can also be trimmed with scissors to aid in placement around the window pane separators.

When installed to the drywall the structures do indeed abut directly against the drywall.
